How can I obtain advice on the feasibility and cost-effectiveness

are more than happy to offer a consultancy service, charged on
a daily basis, to discuss both your ideas and your requirements
for a site. If required, our recommendations can be formally presented
in a report and if the decision is taken to proceed, can form
the basis of the subsequent functional specification and quotation.

How will I know that the site will be adequate for my needs before
committing to extensive expenditure?
Even
if you approach us with a formal list of requirements already
laid out, we will always provide you with a functional specification
detailing exactly what you can expect from the completed site.

How will I know that costs will be realistic and that my site
will be delivered on schedule?
If
required, our proposal can include a project plan in Microsoft
Project format detailing the cost breakdown and projected delivery
date for each component in the project.

Can I be sure that innovative ideas for my business will not reach
my competitors?
If
you are able to fund fully the development costs of your system,
we are happy to put in writing that the same system will not be
offered either whole or in part to a direct competitor.

Can I introduce changes to my site specification once a functional
specification has been agreed without excessive charges?
Assuming
development has not already reached a level where the specification
changes render completed work obsolete, additional work will be
priced in-line with the original quotation and detailed fully
in an amended plan.

Can Graphic Options organise hosting for my site and ensure that
the ISP is suitable for my needs?
Depending
on the individual site requirements we are able to recommend a
number of options for web site hosting. For sites with a low anticipated
hit rate or low data transfer requirements we can offer extremely
cost-effective hosting shared hosting on one of our own servers.
At the other extreme for those customers who would prefer a dedicated
server and high bandwidth for maximum performance we can either
recommend ISPs who offer competitive rates for hosting your own
server. Of course we are more than happy to provide, configure
and arrange hosting for the server for you as part of the final
quotation for a totally hassle-free installation.

I envisage that my site will need to be maintained post-launch.
Can Graphic Options provide this ongoing service?
Post
launch maintenance may be required for any number of reasons,
from the occasional creation and replacement of animated banners
to the regular uploading or updating of information such as updating
prices in an e-commerce system or adding new text such as news
items. In addition to quoting for each individual modification
we are able to offer the more cost-effective option of purchasing
a maintenance contract. Depending on your requirements you would
simply purchase a set number of hours or days per month under
one contract. In addition to simplifying bookkeeping and administration
for both companies, this option ensures that many small changes
can be made to a site over the course of a predefined period without
incurring a minimum charge for each individual task.

Would Graphic Options be willing to enter a joint venture to develop
special applications with sales potential?
As
an internet development company with the ability to take almost
any internet project from an innovative idea through to a highly
branded live site, we are always happy to discuss with clients
the option of significantly subsidising the development costs
of the project for an interest in the overall venture. In this
way, an individual with a great idea is not prevented from turning
their idea into reality simply by prohibitive development costs.
By way of reassurance we are happy to sign any confidentiality
agreements a prospective client may require in order to confirm
that we will not proceed to develop your idea or discuss it with
others should you decide not to enter an agreement with us.

Can I pay for my site against defined achievement milestones?
For
development projected to last more than 4 weeks it is Graphic
Options' policy to stage payments over the period. Minor payments
are assigned to agreed milestones during development, with the
balance payable on successful completion of the work to the agreed
functional specification.

Will Graphic Options monitor the performance of my site post-launch
and arrange publicity as necessary?
We
develop all our sites in such a way as to improve their ranking
in the major search engines. Also, at initial launch of the site
we will always submit the site to those search engines. If the
client is not happy to continue regular re-submissions themselves
we are able to provide this service as part of a maintenance agreement.
In addition, if the site is hosted on one of our servers or a
server that we are maintaining for you we will monitor the performance
of the site and alert you to any potential problems with your
configuration. Server statistics are also available on certain
hosting options allowing detailed analysis on how your site is
performing and who is using it.
